About Us
At ManuscriptShop, we create museum-grade replicas of the earliest surviving biblical manuscripts — preserving the physical testimony of God’s Word as it was first written, copied, and carried by the early Church.
Before cathedrals. Before printing presses. Before bound Bibles, there was papyrus, ink, and conviction.
These ancient fragments remind us that Scripture was treasured long before it was widely distributed. It was copied by hand, protected in times of persecution, and passed down by believers who understood its eternal weight.
Each facsimile we produce is carefully researched, scaled, and crafted to reflect the texture, proportions, and visual character of the original manuscript. Our aim is not artistic reinterpretation, but faithful representation — allowing modern Christians to encounter tangible witnesses to the reliability and preservation of the biblical text.
Our collection continues to grow as we reproduce additional early New Testament papyri and other significant biblical manuscripts. Each new release is chosen intentionally for its historical importance and its ability to help believers better understand how God’s Word has been transmitted through the centuries.
In addition to our core releases, we offer commissioned reproductions for those seeking specific manuscripts not yet available in our catalog. Whether for teaching, filming, research, gifting, or personal study, commissioned projects receive the same level of care and historical attention as every piece we produce. These are not decorative prints. They are conversation pieces, teaching tools, and reminders that the Scriptures we read today have been faithfully preserved across generations.
Our mission is simple: to help believers connect with the physical history of God’s Word, strengthening confidence in its preservation and bringing the earliest witnesses of Scripture into everyday spaces.
