1 Corinthians 15, Paul's foundational case for the resurrection of Christ, preserved on real Egyptian papyrus in one of the oldest surviving New Testament manuscripts.

About This Manuscript

Papyrus 46 (P46) is one of the oldest surviving biblical manuscripts of Paul's epistles, dated to the late second or early third century AD. This museum-quality P46 replica preserves 1 Corinthians 14:34-15:5 on the recto and 1 Corinthians 15:6-15 on the verso, moving from the closing instructions of chapter 14 directly into Paul's extended treatment of the resurrection of Christ in chapter 15. Within this passage, Paul recounts the early proclamation that Christ died, was buried, was raised, and appeared to many witnesses, some of the earliest preserved testimony to the resurrection in all of Christian literature.

Textual Significance

P46 is a cornerstone of Pauline textual criticism. Its preservation of 1 Corinthians 15, one of the most theologically and apologetically significant passages in the entire New Testament, makes this particular leaf exceptional. For students of the resurrection, early Christianity, and biblical reliability, this replica provides a direct connection to the earliest written testimony of the risen Christ.

About This Replica

This museum-quality 1 Corinthians 15 papyrus replica is produced through an intensive, multi-week hand-crafted replication process on real Egyptian papyrus. Careful attention is given to manuscript scale, Greek letterforms, line spacing, and layout.
