to living sacrifice.
This leaf holds one of Scripture's great hinges. Romans 11 rises to its climax — “Of him, and through him, and to him are all things” — and then Paul turns, in the very next breath, to “present your bodies a living sacrifice.” Worship becomes a way of living. On the reverse the letter presses into the daily shape of that life: humility, honest love, service, and the charge to overcome evil with good.
It survives on 𝒫46, the oldest substantial copy of Paul's epistles in existence — a codex copied in Egypt within roughly a century and a half of Paul writing to Rome. This is as close as the physical record brings us to the apostle's own words, and its readings sit directly behind the modern critical Greek New Testament that translators still work from today.

This copy of P46 far exceeded my expectations. Still scratching my head trying to figure out how they accomplish this. You won’t be disappointed!
This is my third purchase. They are all amazing! They look exactly as pictured online and both the manuscript replicas and the displays are high quality. I will need to adjust my bookshelves to accommodate the height (I was so excited to find these that I forgot to measure!).
