Papyrus 47 (𝒫47) is one of the earliest surviving Greek manuscripts of the Book of Revelation. Dating to the third century, this papyrus codex fragment stands as a key early witness to the Apocalypse and plays an important role in the study of the textual history of Revelation. This side of the manuscript preserves Revelation 14:1–4, continuing directly from the preceding chapter on the opposite side of the leaf.

Revelation 14:1–4 presents a vision of the Lamb standing on Mount Zion with those who bear His name, forming a deliberate contrast to the imagery of allegiance found at the end of chapter 13. Preserved together within Papyrus 47, these verses highlight a theological transition within the Apocalypse and offer physical evidence of how early Christians encountered this text as a continuous, carefully transmitted document.

This museum-quality facsimile is created through an intensive, multi-week replication process focused on historical accuracy rather than modern interpretation. Close attention is given to manuscript scale, Greek letterforms, line spacing, layout, and material appearance, resulting in a reproduction that closely reflects the visual and physical character of the original papyrus fragment.

The manuscript is presented as Christian wall art in an 8Γ—10 black frame with a white background and protective glass front. This restrained display emphasizes clarity and readability while allowing the manuscript replica to remain the focal point. The piece is ideal for collectors of early Christian manuscripts, students of the Book of Revelation, educators, and those interested in the material history of Scripture. It also serves as a meaningful and historically grounded Christian gift.
